I’m always drawn to new ideas that can meaningfully improve the world. Throughout my career, I’ve founded several companies, built and led teams, conducted open-ended research and development, and established collaborative projects with academia. Below are some examples
I founded a startup based on the idea of creating a distributed search infrastructure powered by a market-based rating mechanism. The venture received funding from the Jerusalem Software Incubator and the Israel Innovation Authority (formerly the Office of the Chief Scientist).
I designed a statistical model used to predict load on large distributed billing systems. It supported more accurate sizing of system installations and ultimately saved the company $100 million in unnecessary hardware costs.
I co-founded a startup that created a WYSIWYG-style visual search interface based on a tag-cloud paradigm. The project received positive reviews in Search Engine Magazine.
While at Citibank TLV lab, I proposed creating a corporate platform for sharing and collaborating on data science insights across the organization. The project was awarded a corporate LabLink grant to support its development.
I built and led the first AI lab at Motorola Solutions' Innovation Center, designed the lab’s roadmap, and proposed multiple initiatives across video, text, and speech use cases. I also led several industry–academia collaboration projects, securing grants from the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) to support their development.
I established a data science team and helped define a big-data–driven AI product for no-code creation of onboard models that monitor signal anomalies. The product was recognized as Automotive AI Product of the Year.
